Breeding season half over

The breeding of the mature ewes is almost done.

Just a few ewes remaining. 

 Our rams, Baffin, Gustov and BuBuKat, will get another try with these unbred ewes as they will all join the batch of the ewes born last spring.

Breeding Season Starts

We have divided our mature ewes into two groups.

One group will be mated with the ram Baffin and the other with BuBuKat. 

The average weight of the ewes is 167 lbs.

Next month we will expose our 2014 lamb ewes to these rams

Winter Feed

These are photos of our supply of feed for the winter.  These 38 bales are a mixture of grass with alfalfa.
