A Hard Water Problem

Last week we had some really cold temps with wind. 

This combined with a bad electrical connection led to some ice build up on a sheep watering bowl.

The small dark open spot is due to natural convection heat rising from the vertical culvert from a depth of 10 feet.


The second photo shows the repaired water bowl with the thermostatic controlled electric heater working.

wind chill ? we got that!

I think we will stay inside!
